The Museum

Housed in the former ACME Factory the museum opened in 2010. This historic building houses a museum, a library, meeting and event spaces, a museum store, and a cafe. It’s also home to the Acme County Historical Society’s collections and archives.

The Collection

ACME Corporation may seem like an enigma, a pre-Amazonian marketplace for anything and everything. And like Amazon today, Acme was a kind of capitalist behemoth. In the early part of the 20th century, ACME was the mail-order company of the day, and the name Acme became an in-house brand that stood for any number of products. We have done our best to have at least one of every product that Acme produced over its 100 year+ history.
