What should you use to build a web site

Disclaimer: these are suggestions not standards.

What do you have to spend?

$0 to $2,000 and you have no staff or 1 staff - then look at Google Sites

$1,000 to $12,000 and you have 3 to 10 staff - then look at Wordpress

$12,000+ and you have 20+ staff then look at Drupel

I am assuming that the more staff you have the more programs and complex your organization's offerings online will need to be.

That being said...

...there are several great web hosting sites that have great visual web building tools. Some like Wix, Weebly and Squarespace make it simple for even a newbie to put together something polished in a relatively short time. Some like Wild Apricot have some great tools for a nonprofit.
